(The Big Hunt via DC City Blog) – In anticipation of the Kentucky Derby, The Big Hunt is hosting its first ever Kentucky Derby event, “Beer, Bourbon & BBQ”. Only 50 tickets are available for this delicious warm up event to the 2010 race.

The event will include:

• Guests can choose 2 out of 5 Kentucky Derby-themed cocktails, such as Perfect Woodford Reserve Manhattan, Bulleit Bourbon Mint Julep or Elijah Craig Kentucky Punch;
• Special beers include Lake Erie Monster, Great Lakes’ Holy Moses, Founders’ Kentucky Breakfast Stout and Canadian Breakfast Stout, Allagash Confluence;
• A variety of BBQ favorites specifically chosen to complement the flavor of the beers will be available, including pulled pork sandwiches, bacon collard greens, cheesy grits, bourbon cornbread and Derby pie.

Tickets are available for purchase in person from Monday-Thursday between 4-8pm.  $50 per ticket includes all the above and more.

WHO:

Managing Partner Kyle Remissong, General Manager/Beer Director Dave Coleman and Manager Scott McIntosh invite fellow beer, bourbon and BBQ lovers and local media to dress in their Derby finest to enjoy great beer, bourbon and BBQ.
